Vegan Banana Bread With Chocolate Chips

Oleh Laura Woods, I'm always looking for a way to vegan-ize common recipes and this mixture is gold. I was surprised how yummy it turned out in comparison to other mixtures I've tried. It wasn't super dense like my other attempts. I like that it was sweet as well (without being overpowering). ☺️

Langkah Memasak

Langkah 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Mix the sugar with the apple sauce and softened coconut oil in one bowl. Make sure the ingredients are mixed well.
Langkah 2
Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Then mix with the ingredients in the other bowl. Make sure to mix them well.
Langkah 3
Add the banana, yogurt, water, and chocolate chips. Mix well with the previous ingredients.
Langkah 4
Scoop mix into a 9 inch bread tin and bake for 60 minutes. Check to make sure it's not too moist with a poker. If it is bake for a few extra minutes.

    1 2/3 cup Whole wheat flour
    1 cup Mashed bananas
    1/2 cup Stevia sweetener
    4 tbsp Coconut oil, softened not melted
    1/4 cup Water
    1 tbsp Vanilla extract
    1 tsp Baking soda
    1/2 tsp Sea salt
    6 tbsp Apple sauce, natural
    1/2 cup Soy yogurt (or coconut yogurt)
    1/2 cup Chocolate chips, Chocolate Dream brand is vegan
